Lawmakers and several furry friends took to the steps of the state house today to promote a one time $100 tax credit for people who adopt pets from shelters. A second bill was also introduced to offer a $1,000 annual tax credit for people who adopt retired police dogs to help offset their medical bills. Both bills are sponsored by Del. Glen Glass, R-Harford Co.
