Montgomery County Task Force Recommends New Liquor to Food Ratio

BETHESDA — This week, the County Executive will review the Montgomery County Nighttime Economy Task Force’s recommendations for increasing business at night. One of its recommendations is to change the 50-to-50 food to alcohol profit ratio that restaurants and bars must maintain. The Task Force is hoping the County Executive and County Council will approve a 60-to-40 ratio, which will let restaurants and bars sell more alcohol and less food.
