Police transparency called for in Maryland counties

ANNAPOLIS, Md.– ACLU, CASA, and other organizations joined together at a press conference to speak out in support of a bill making police misconduct complaint public.  Among the members in the audience were mothers who lost their children to police brutality. The women said that while there was never any justice for their kids, the proposed legislation could change that. Capital News Service reached out to law enforcement officials for response to the bill, but they declined to comment.
