Democratic Representation in Maryland General Assembly Hits Historic Lows
Maryland Democrats lost seven seats in the House of Delegates in the 2014 election, leaving that party with the lowest number of seats in at least the last 25 years. In the Senate, the Democrats lost two seats in 2014, returning to the level of representation they held for most of this century.
