Many Colleges and Universities No Longer See SAT, ACT as Essential

For many years, the SAT and ACT have been a staple of many high school students’ college applications, accepted by a majority of schools as proof of classroom capabilities. However, data shows that the number of colleges requiring standardized testing from all students is steadily dropping.
