Hometown: Cambridge, Md.
Eckardt has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 1995, and chair of the Republican Party Caucus since 2007. Eckardt is married with three sons and seven grandchildren.

Joseph Getty

District 1
Age: 60
Hometown: Manchester, Md.
Joseph M. Getty currently serves in the Maryland State Senate, representing District 5. Getty has participated in multiple committees during his time in the senate, including the Judicial Proceedings Committee and the Joint Committee on Legislative Ethics. He currently resides in Manchester, Md. His recent election to the state senate in 2010 came with the endorsement of the incumbent, Larry E. Haines, who supported Getty after his decision to vacate his seat.

Audrey Scott

District 1
Age: 76
Hometown: Queenstown, Md.
Scott was Bowie mayor from 1976 to 1982, the first woman to hold the position. She was Maryland's secretary of planning from 2003 to 2007, and was the state's Republican chairwoman in 2009. She is a member of the Maryland Women's Hall of Fame.

William "Bill" Frank

District 2

Hometown: Lutherville, Md.
Frank has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 2003, and is chief deputy minority whip. Frank has attended GOP conventions in the past, and was part of the Reagan Youth Delegation in 1980.

Stephen Kolbe

District 2
Age: 36
Hometown: Towson, Md.
Kolbe is a member of the Executive Committee of the Maryland Republican Party and chairs the Baltimore County Republican Central Committee. Kolbe, a high-tech industry entrepreneur, is also Baltimore County coordinator for Romney-Ryan. He and his wife Samantha have two children.

Alfred Redmer

District 2
Age: 56
Hometown: Middle River, Md.
Redmer was a member of the House of Delegates from 1991 to 2003 and minority leader from 2001 to 2003. While a lawmaker, he dealt with health and public utilities policy.

John Cluster

District 3
Age: 58
Hometown: Parkville, Md.
Cluster retired from the Baltimore County Police Department in 1988 and was appointed to the Maryland House of Delegates in 2003. He lost his seat in 2006, but was re-elected in 2010. Cluster told the Washington Post "the leadership in Annapolis doesn't go along with what our views back home are," on same-sex marriage and in-state tuition for illegal immigrants.

Greg Fox

District 3
Age: 45
Hometown: Fulton, Md.
Fox, elected in 2006, is the only Republican on the Howard County City Council. He is a member of the Task Force on Child Care. He coaches his son's soccer team.

Steven Schuh

District 3
Age:52
Hometown: Gibson Island, Md.
Schuh joined the Maryland House of Delegates in 2007, and is deputy minority whip. Schuh holds degrees from Dartmouth College, Harvard University, and Johns Hopkins University.

Chuck Gast

District 4
Age: 48
Hometown: Odenton, Md.
Gast donated $450 to the Republican State Central Committee in 2012. St. Paul, Minn., in 2008 was his first convention, and he told Patch.com the rush of stepping on the convention floor for the first time was an electric experience he will never forget.

Nicholaus Kipke

District 4
Age: 33
Hometown: Pasadena, Md.
Kipke has been a member of the Maryland House of Delegates since 2007. Kipke is a member of the Health and Government Operations Committee. He was very excited to attend the convention: “This has been a dream of mine to attend, ever since I was very young...This year I was asked by the Romney team to be a delegate very early on and I agreed.”

Bryan Simonaire

District 4
Age: 48
Hometown: Pasadena, Md.
Simonaire was the first Republican senator elected from Maryland's 31st district in 2007. He has been at the forefront of the referendum initiative to put same-sex marriage on the November 2012 ballot.

Kevin Igoe

District 5
Age: 61
Hometown: Owings, Md.
Igoe is representing the 5th Congressional District, and this is his fifth national convention, and has donated $2,500 to Romney-Ryan.

Charles Lollar

District 5
Hometown: Newburg, Md.
Lollar ran unsuccessfully against Rep. Steny Hoyer in 2010. He is a tea party activist, avid tweeter @Charles_Lollar.

Christopher Rosenthal

District 5
Age: 54
Hometown: Edgewater, Md.
Rosenthal is the treasurer of the Maryland Republican Party, and donated $500 to Romney's campaign in 2011. Between 2011 and 2012, he donated $2,700 to the Republican State Central Committee of Maryland.

Brenda Butscher

District 6
Age: 72
Hometown: Mountain Lake Park, Md.
Conventions are not a new thing for Butscher anymore. Butscher, a resident of Garrett County attended her first convention in Miami Beach, in 1972, when Richard M. Nixon was nominated. She told The Baltimore Sun that she ran into Vietnam War protestors on her way into the convention her first year, and was threatened with an ice pick. Coming from her small county, the thrill of the conventions and the chance to meet Maryland and national party officials has brought her back nine times, although she told The Baltimore Sun, "no longer can I wear high heels here." Butscher believes this will be her last convention.

Ignacio Sanchez

District 6
Age: 52
Hometown: Potomac, Md.
Partner at global law firm DLA Piper, Sanchez has contributed more than $30,000 to Republican causes. He has given $2,500 to Romney in 2011, and $5,500 to Reclaim America PAC since 2011, and $10,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee in 2012.

Christian "Chris" Cavey

District 7
Age: 57
Hometown: Hampstead, Md.
Cavey is currently a political consultant according to his LinkedIn profile, after over 30 years in the insurance business. Cavey has also held multiple positions supporting other Republican politicians in Maryland. In 2010 he was the field director for Bob Ehrlich's campaign, and in 2008 he was the chairman for McCain/Palin Maryland.

Brian Harlin

District 7
Age: 45
Hometown: Ellicott City, Md.
Harlin, former chairman of the Howard County Republican Central Committee, is the official vendor of campaign merchandise for the 2012 Republican National Convention. Harlin owns the GOP Shoppe in Glen Burnie, Md. and is dedicated to his role as official vendor. "When I signed on to be master vendor, that's my job. I came here to make this as profitable as possible for the host committee, for the city of Tampa," Harlin said to Capital News Service.

Allen Kittleman

District 7
Age: 53
Hometown: West Friendship, Md.
Kittleman is a Maryland State Senator who has supported Mitt Romney since the 2008 election. Kittleman was a delegate for Romney in 2008, but when McCain won the nomination Kittleman did not attend. "I certainly am a big supporter of Gov. Romney. I thought the was the best candidate in 2008. We have a ticket now that will really show the differences of the two philosophies."

Kathryn Afzali

District 8
Age: 55
Hometown: Middleton, Md.

Howard Denis

District 8
Age: 72
Hometown: Chevy Chase, Md.
Denis served in the Maryland State Senate from 1977-1994, and on the Montgomery County Council.

Mark Uncapher

District 8
Age: 56
Hometown: Bethesda, Md.
Uncapher is the chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Committee. He works as a telecommunications lawyer in Washington, D.C. Uncapher donated $2,500 to Romney in 2011.

David Craig

Age: 63
Hometown: Havre de Grace, Md.
Craig has been Harford County Executive since 2005. He is considering running for governor in 2014. He told The Baltimore Sun he's hoping to build name recognition within the party while at the convention.

Larry Helminiak

Age: 72
Hometown: Skyville, Md.
Helminiak has been the second vice chairman of the Maryland Republican Party since 2010. "It's the most important election of our lives," Helminiak said. "As a 72-year-old, I have lived through everybody since Roosevelt and experienced how the country used to be and seen it going into the sewer. If we reelect Obama, bringing it back is not an option. It will be done forever."

Anthony J. O'Donnell

Hometown: Lusby, Md.
O'Donnell has been minority leader of the Maryland House of Delegates since 2007, and a delegate since 1995. He represents District 29C, Calvert and St. Mary's Counties.

E.J. Pipkin

Age: 55
Hometown: Stevensville, Md.
Pipkin serves in the Maryland Senate, where he has been minority leader since 2011. Pipkin donated $1,000 to David Brinkley in March.

Ellen Sauerbrey

Age: 74
Hometown: Baldwin, Md.
Sauerbrey served on the Maryland House of Delegates for 15 years, was the U.S. representative to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women, was a candidate for Maryland governor and, in 2006, she became assistant secretary of state for population, refugees and migration.

Kelly Schulz

Age: 43
Hometown: New Market, Md.
Schulz joined the Maryland House of Delegates in 2011. A mother of two, Schulz previously worked for the Environmental Protection Agency. A former real estate agent, Schulz graduated from Hood College with a bachelors degree in political science in 2006.

Michael D. Smigiel

Age: 54
Hometown: Chesapeake City, Md.
Smigiel has been a Maryland delegate since 2003, and he recently was named to the Task Force to Study the Court Decision regarding Pit Bulls.

Kathy Szeliga

Age: 50
Hometown: Perry Hall, Md.
Szeliga joined the Maryland House of Delegates in 201. She and and her husband started a construction business more than 25 years ago.

Ruth Umbel

Age: 66
Hometown: McHenry, Md.
Umbel is president of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women, where her profile says when she was 12 she went door to door campaigning for Dwight D. Eisenhower.

Diana Waterman

Age: 51
Hometown: Queenstown, Md.
Waterman, a board member for Queen Anne's County United Way, is the first vice chairman of the Maryland Republican Party. She is also the first vice president of the Maryland Federation of Republican Women.

Louis Pope

Age: 61
Hometown: Fulton, Md.
Pope, an active Republican for decades, is vice chairman of the RNC. He took the hurricane-shortened convention in stride, saying, "You're going to get a little wet, your hair might not be perfect, but the message is still a clear message, and that's to defeat Barack Obama and elect Mitt Romney."

Nicolee Ambrose

Age: 37
Hometown: Baltimore, Md.
Ambrose was voted chairman emeritus of the Young Republicans in 2007. She is vice president of government affairs for a small law firm. Ambrose was awarded the 1998 best opera award from the National Opera Association for her role in Hansel and Gretel, and is a member of the Republican National Committee.

Alex Mooney

Age: 41
Hometown: Frederick, Md.
Mooney is chairman of the Republican State Central Committee in Maryland. He was a Maryland state senator from 1999 to 2011, and has attended previous conventions, but never as a delegate.
