Since 2006, Maryland adults without dependent children earning less than $15,856.20 annually have been eligible for Primary Adult Care, a limited benefits health insurance program. When the Medicaid expansion goes into effect early next year, current PAC recipients will qualify for full Medicaid benefits.
This graph shows the number of childless adults ages 19-64 enrolled in the PAC from 2007, the program's first full year of operation, until 2012. Enrollment data from 2006 and 2009 was not available.
