Car crashes into Prince George’s pub at lunchtime leaving several injured

It was just another lunch hour at Babes Boys Tavern when things quickly took a turn for the worst. A car crashed into the side of the restaurant around 2 p.m. on the 15000 block of Marlboro Pike. Ten were injured. Seven were taken to the hospital, two of which had serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Proposed federal rule seeks social media information on immigrants

The Department of Homeland Security recently filed a pending rule in the Federal Register. The rule would allow DHS to collect social media information from all immigrants, including naturalized citizens and permanent residents. The rule doesn’t go into effect until October 18th, after the public comment period ends. 

NOAA research center opens up to public for first time

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Center for Climate and Weather Prediction threw its doors open to the public for the first time this past weekend. The open house celebrated the center’s fifth anniversary and was a chance for experts to educate and inspire the public.
