A military plane crashes in Prince George’s County

Shortly after takeoff from Joint Base Andrews, an F-16 plane on its way to conduct routine training in Pennsylvania experienced a mechanical problem and crashed in a wooded area between two neighborhoods. There were no reported injuries on the ground and the pilot, who has not been identified, safely ejected and landed about a mile from the crash.
