Maryland lifts outdoor mask mandate and outdoor dining restrictions

Maryland – Governor Larry Hogan lifted Maryland’s statewide outdoor mask mandate on Wednesday and announced there will no longer be restrictions for outdoor dining. Both Howard and Montgomery County are still enforcing outdoor masking, but Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks has yet to announce the county’s plans. Masks are still required indoors, at large ticketed venues and on public transportation.

Restaurants adjust to winter dining

HYATTSVILLE, Maryland – Governor Hogan has announced $50 million in federal relief for restaurants. This will help keep restaurants open when the weather turns cooler and they have to adjust for outdoor dining.
