With Tropical Storm Isaac brewing up the Gulf Coast, Maryland GOP delegates and guests arrived in Tampa for the Republican National Convention on Sunday, August 26th. Convention activities have been postponed until Tuesday due to the storm.
But spirits were still high despite the oncoming storm. The Maryland delegation says they’re confident that everyone will be able to make it to Tampa on time, and that the the hurricane won’t stop them from having a good time and sharing their message in Tampa this week. The delegates are expected to officially nominate Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan on Tuesday.
