FAIRFAX – David “Goat” Endersby missed the camaraderie of the Marine Corps when he retired. To fill the void, he joined the Warrior Brotherhood Motorcycle Club, and is now the vice president of one of Virginia’s chapters.
“I’ve always loved motorcycles,” Endersby said.
But that’s not all the club provides.
Its motto is “Vets helping vets,” and its members have served in Vietnam, Desert Storm, Iraq, Afghanistan and Korea.
The club raises money for local military-related charities, including Companions for Heroes, which connects service dogs with veterans in need.
It is a way for veterans–and active duty–to relate to others who have had similar experiences in the military. This particular club is for men only.
“I’d lay down my life for these guys,” Endersby said.
