Bikers Ride Around D.C. for 9/11 Victims from CNSMaryland on Vimeo.
FORT WASHINGTON-Thousands of motorcycle riders from across the country gathered in Washington, D.C., Wednesday to commemorate the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The bikers originally planned to ride around the monuments. The National Park Service denied a police escort to the group, forcing the motorcyclists to travel around the district on the Capital Beltway.
Many riders were frustrated about the change in plans. Bikers John Hadley from Baltimore County and Skip Gaston from Boston said they still were able to reflect on the significance of this 12-year anniversary.
