WASHINGTON — Some of the best chefs in the region squared off recently in an international competition.
Six chefs were chosen to compete in Battledish DC on October 5th. The regional winner will go on to compete against 60 other chefs across North America for King of Battledish.
Chef Dan Mrohs of Tap & Parlour won the first round of the competition with his grilled diver scallop with charred corn and black bean maque choux, crispy pancetta and fried shallot in a honey bourbon glaze.
