GAITHERSBURG — On March 25, 1975, Sheila (12) and Katherine (10) Lyon disappeared on their walk home from Wheaton Mall. Police have identified a new person of interest, Lloyd Lee Welch, a convicted sex offender. They have asked the public for any information they can provide about Welch and the day of the girls’ disappearance.
