BALTIMORE – The Maryland State Department of Education released the results of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) today, and the scores are disappointing. Less than half of Maryland high schoolers who took the new test in 2015 “met expectations” or “exceeded expectations” when it comes to preparedness for college or careers.
