GAITHERSBURG–The Division of Highway Services in the Montgomery County Department of Transportation conducted an all-day exercise to test the preparedness of the County’s snow plans and fleet. Snow plow operators ran snow routes on more than 5,200 lane miles of County-maintained roads. Emergency office staff handled a simulated six-inch snow storm.
