COLLEGE PARK – The death toll in the U.S. from Hurricane Matthew currently stands at 26, but in Haiti over 1,000 have died. While the storm may be only a memory for some, the relief effort is underway for many in in the U.S. and Haiti. And, for two University of Maryland students, the storm was more than just another news story.
