SILVER SPRING, Maryland – The Maryland Department of Transportation along with the State High Administration teamed up with the U.S. Department of Transportation to kick off Work Zone Awareness Week. The week-long event calls attention to road safety and the need for motorists to be extra careful to avoid work zone crashes.
