SEVERN, Maryland — Over 30 million adults in the United States have kidney disease, according to the National Kidney Foundation. For Hispanics, the risk is nearly double that of all other Americans. A free screening opportunity in Anne Arundel County last weekend helped with raising awareness and getting those who are at risk to take an important first step in dealing with a potentially deadly disease.
