DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Maryland — Prince George’s County is the latest to file suit against the makers of prescription opioids. County Executive Rushern Baker says the county has seen a dramatic hike in opioid and fentanyl overdose deaths with paramedics running twice as many overdose calls as they have in previous years. The suit filed against more than two dozen companies and individuals says the case is about one thing, corporate greed.
