ROCKVILLE, Maryland—Montgomery County joins Anne Arundel and Prince George’s Counties in filing lawsuits against the makers of prescription opioids. The County announced Wednesday it was suing 14 manufacturers and distributors. County Executive Ike Leggett says the makers of the drugs must be held accountable for excessive production and over-prescribing.
