ANNAPOLIS, Maryland — Governor Hogan, having already put a public face to the battle against skin cancer with his own recent treatment for non-malignant skin lesions, joined in urging Maryland residents to get regular screenings. The Governor’s comments came during an all-day screening at the State House on Thursday sponsored by the Maryland Dermatologic Society. According to the Maryland Dermatologic Society, approximately 95,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with skin cancer every day.
