State offers free transportation to workers impacted by shutdown

BWI-MARSHALL AIRPORT– Governor Larry Hogan announced on Thursday that federal workers who are not being paid because of the on-going government shutdown will be able to get free rides from the Maryland Transportation Administration. The offer includes all forms of transit offered by the MTA. BWI-Marshall Airport has also set up a food drive for their employees impacted by the shutdown. They’re asking for donations of non-perishable items at any of 16 designated locations.
