Why are you running for the school board?
I am standing up for our students. They need basic life skills, reading, writing, math.
Job skills to prepare them for the workforce. It is our job to educate, not indoctrinate.
What makes you a good candidate for the board?
I recently sold my business after 38 years.
I will be very focused on budget, safety, discipline and currículum.

Ben Carson. Ben is a retired neurosurgeon that has started the Carson Foundation, getting scholarships for students needing funding for their education.
What is the most important issue facing your school board, and what would you do about it if elected?
Discipline. We need fair and equitable policies put in place and enforced.
How concerned are you about school safety, and what if anything should be done to improve it?
I want an armed guard in every school. We need much improved discipline policies and enforcement to make our schools safer. Our children are our most precious treasure, and we must protect them!
Do you have any concerns about the way history is taught in your district’s schools, and if so, what are they?
Yes, our nation’s history has been watered down and changed. Our students need actual history and civics so that they can become educated members of society.
Do you think there are circumstances when books should be removed from school libraries, and if so, what kind of books should be removed?
Yes, when they are pornographic.
