Why are you running for the school board?
I’m running to make sure parents have a voice.
What makes you a good candidate for the board?
I have been on the board since 2014. I am a conservative businessman that owned a business and I know what benefits the communities.

What is the most important issue facing your school board, and what would you do about it if elected?
Student safety and students learning levels below normal since COVID. Focus more on academics and get parents involved in school programs.
How concerned are you about school safety, and what if anything should be done to improve it?
Student safety is the highest priority right now. I have been advocating for school resource officers in all schools. Over the last eight years I have continued to support security vestibules in all of our schools. This program has now been completed.
Do you have any concerns about the way history is taught in your district’s schools, and if so, what are they?
Yes, public schools should not be teaching CRT (Critical Race Theory). We need to teach history as it was, the good, the bad and ugly. Then hopefully history will not be repeated.
Do you think there are circumstances when books should be removed from school libraries, and if so, what kind of books should be removed?
So yes, there are books that need removed from school libraries. A committee of parents from all schools should be the ones reviewing all books. It’s their children who will be able to withdraw them from the library. Shouldn’t the parent be the one to choose what their child is exposed to? I think so.
