SILVER SPRING, Md. – Parasol Patrol was founded in 2019 to shield kids, families and individuals from anti-LGBTQ+ protestors by using rainbow umbrellas, noise canceling headphones and playing loud music. The group also helps support victims of human trafficking, many of the victims are part of the LGBTQ+ community. The group started in Colorado and now exists in 22 states.
