WASHINGTON- The same justices that overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022 discuss tightening access to an abortion pill called Mifepristone. This medication is used in nearly two-thirds of abortions in the nation. Activists, doctors, and patients rally at the Supreme Court of the United States during oral arguments to fight for continued access to Mifepristone. This decision could threaten abortion access and reproductive health care across the country, whether or not a abortion is banned or protected in the state.
