COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Many college students study abroad to experience new cultures and places. Not every student is able to travel abroad, but the University of Maryland’s Club Rugby team gave its athletes a unique opportunity to travel to Spain. Not only did they learn about the different styles of play of European rugby, but they got to experience a new culture, see the world, and better connect with one another.
