The Maryland Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports — which issued $111 million in grants to address youth mental health in 2024 — issued two grants totaling $1.63 million in Carroll County:
- Life Renewal Services received $1.04 million to collaborate with school staff to reduce absenteeism by providing individual and family therapy, medication evaluation and management, mobile services and home visits, mentoring and case management services.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Carroll County Inc. received $590,000 to provide social-emotional skill building and character development through after-school activities.
