The Maryland Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports — which issued $111 million in grants to address youth mental health in 2024 –issued four grants totaling $1.4 million in Queen Anne’s County:
- Striving For Wellness Together LLC received $540,000 for school-wide preventative and mental health services; individual, group, and family counseling; and behavioral health education, support and navigation for families.
- Choptank Community Health System Inc. received $360,000 for co-occurring individual therapy, care coordination, substance use prevention, suicide prevention, family groups and family support, delivered through the applicant’s school-based health centers.
- Chesapeake Bay Psychological Services LLC received $350,000 for outpatient behavioral health services, psychotherapy, substance use disorder assessment/treatment and a psychoeducational parent group.
- Hazel Health received $155,000 for telehealth services for students and families.
