The Maryland Consortium on Coordinated Community Supports — which issued $111 million in grants to address youth mental health in 2024 –issued two grants totaling $2.02 million in St. Mary’s County:
- St. Mary’s County Health Department received $1.44 million for behavioral health diagnosis, treatment, counseling and youth mentoring services, delivered through school-based health centers.
- Maryland Coalition of Families received $585,000 for family peer support, support groups, resource connection and systems navigation.
