WASHINGTON – Government contractor Robert Perez has over 170,000 Instagram followers. During the government shutdown, Perez ran a mile for each day of the shutdown until Day 29 while also teaching civics lessons on his Instagram. The Marine veteran said he ran over 450 miles in the month of October.
