WASHINGTON – With youth soccer in the U.S. often costing families thousands, the Open Goal Project is providing a free alternative. The organization offered no-cost soccer programming to more than 500 kids this year and expanded its reach to Southeast D.C., helping remove financial barriers to the sport.
