Stephanie Martinez is a graduate student covering diversity and immigration for the University of Maryland’s Capital News Service TV. She is a former photojournalist at ViewFinder, an award-winning team who specialized in creating natural sound packages. She just completed an internship with Pete Williams at NBC’s Nightly News. She also worked for over two years as a freelance reporter for Telemundo Washington covering controversial immigration issues and heated political topics.
