Annapolis Latinos League provides safe space for players and spectators

Annapolis, MD- The Annapolis Latinos League was formed in 2018 by a single man, Kleber Llivichuzca. Llivichuzca created it with the intention of giving the Latino community a safe space to gather, free of drugs, alcohol and bad language.

Maryland lifts outdoor mask mandate and outdoor dining restrictions

Maryland – Governor Larry Hogan lifted Maryland’s statewide outdoor mask mandate on Wednesday and announced there will no longer be restrictions for outdoor dining. Both Howard and Montgomery County are still enforcing outdoor masking, but Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks has yet to announce the county’s plans. Masks are still required indoors, at large ticketed venues and on public transportation.

Maryland Department of Education approves standardized testing to start in the spring

The Maryland State Department of Education moved to authorize standardized testing in the Spring. The testing format will be shorter this year and will only include mathematics and english language arts. Both in-person and virtual learners will be required to do testing.
