Maryland lifts outdoor mask mandate and outdoor dining restrictions
Maryland – Governor Larry Hogan lifted Maryland’s statewide outdoor mask mandate on Wednesday and announced there will no longer be restrictions for outdoor dining. Both Howard and Montgomery County are still enforcing outdoor masking, but Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks has yet to announce the county’s plans. Masks are still required indoors, at large ticketed venues and on public transportation.

Maryland begins new Covid vaccine phase, residents 60 and over now eligible
Baltimore- Governor Larry Hogan announced Maryland residents 60 and over are now eligible to receive the Covid vaccine after the state transitioned to phase 2A of the vaccine distribution plan today. Individuals with disabilities will now be eligible to be vaccinated under phase 2B and six additional mass vaccination sites will be added by the end of April.
