COLLEGE PARK, Md. — College Park is about to get “crunchified.” Food Network fans were lined up out the door for the grand opening of Bobby Flay’s new burger restaurant, “Bobby’s Burger Palace.”
Located on Route 1 just outside the University of Maryland campus, the restaurant will offer hungry students and locals everything from L.A. Burgers with avocado relish to sweet potato fries. And for those who’ve had a very long day, they’ll be able to sip on Mocha Kahlua Vodka milkshakes.
But of course, no one can go to the “BBP,” as Flay calls it, without ordering Bobby’s signature “Crunchburger,” which adds a layer of thin potato chips on top of any burger.
Flay says students now have more sophisticated palates than ever, and are craving better quality food options in College Park. This is Flay’s 7th Bobby’s Burger Palace in the U.S. Flay says he chose College Park after having success in nearby Washington, DC.
Prices for the restaurant run around $7 for most burgers, $5 for shakes, and $3 for fries.
