COLLEGE PARK, Maryland — Republican leaders revealed this week a proposal to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, which would reduce tax credits used by low-income and elderly Marylanders to pay for health insurance premiums.
But under President Donald Trump’s and House Speaker Paul Ryan’s plan, the American Health Care Act, most younger people and higher-income people in Maryland would see an increase in the amount of tax credits they receive, according to an analysis by the Kaiser Family Foundation.
